Neli Ivanova, in partnership with Violeta Miller established Ivanova and Parners Law Firm in 2016, when they both leaved Stefanova and Ivanova Law Firm. Neli mostly deals with Contract and Commercial Law matters, Contentious Contract and Commercial Disputes, Real Estates and Foreign Investments matters, but she also has extensive experience in and other civil and administrative law matters. Neli represents clients before all Bulgarian courts in relation to Dispute Resolution matters and Judicial Review Cases.
Neli is a dual qualified lawyer – a Bulgarian Advocate, member of the Sofia Bar Association in Bulgaria, and a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. Neli graduated from the University of Veliko Tarnovo with a Master Degree in Law in 2001, and qualified as a lawyer in Bulgaria in 2002. Upon qualification she worked as a junior counsel at the Legal Department of the Bulgarian National Directorate for Building Control.
Following her move to England in 2003, Neli first completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Law / CPE course at the Birmingham City University, in the UK, and then the Legal Practice Course at the Birmingham College of Law in the UK. Neli was admitted as a solicitor in England in 2008, and worked 1 year as a NQ solicitor at Wright Hassall LLP, England, UK from 2008 until 2009, where she mostly dealt with English contentious construction and engineering disputes. Before joining Wright Hassall LLP, Neli was one year, from 2007 until 2008, a part of the Royal Bank of Scotland credit advisors team in its Coventry and Nuneaton Branches, in the UK.
After her move back in Bulgaria in 2009, Neli joined Stefanova and Ivanova Law Firm, where she was a senior equity partner for about 7 years.
